Langtang Valley Trek
Langtang Valley Trek is one of the most famous and adventurous trekking trails. Trekkers can experience a unique journey through verdant forests, with glimpses of beautiful glaciers, and majestic views of mountains all the while experiencing a rich local culture. The Langtang area is a wonderful option for adventuring in the Himalayan Mountains, and the trek begins closer to Kathmandu than most treks.
This region is full of soaring peaks like Mt. Langtang Ri (6427m), Langshisha (6427 m), Langtang II (6596m), and Tserko Ri (4984m). Terraced fields are interspersed with small settlements of Tamang, Sherpa, and Tibetan communities and some of the destinations hold great religious importance such as Langtang Gompa and Kyanjin Gompa which are famous Buddhists monasteries. The journey to begin the trek starts from Kathmandu leading us to beautiful villages like Sybrubensi, Lama Hotel, Langtang and Tserko Ri filled with the scenic beauty and local culture. Oak and Rhododendron forests, panoramic views of the Himalayas and gorgeous glaciers are all waiting to be discovered. One can get a chance to visit Langtang National park and can view the diversity of flora and fauna residing in these regions. The Langtang Trek offers natural, scenic, and cultural wonders. These beauties you see in the Himalayas, those gigantic glaciers those sacred monasteries, those shrines and all the human creations that you meet on the way is sure to blow up your mind. Full day guided sightseeing tour in Kathmandu Valley
The capital is always known for its incredible history. Sites such as Pashupatinath Temple, Swayambhunath Temple, and Boudhanath Stupa are all listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. These sites are examples of Hindu and Buddhist culture and the unity found between the two religions in Nepal. You will also visit the local streets of Kathmandu along with Kathmandu Durbar Square. The square displays historical information about the Malla and Shah dynasty. The tour is a great introduction to the rich history and cultural heritage of the Kathmandu Valley.
Drive from Kathmandu to Sybrubensi (1503m) 7 hours by private 4W land cruiser
After having lunch at the hotel we will start our journey to Syabru which will roughly take us around 7 hours to reach there in our private 4W land cruiser. We will drive along the bank of Trishuli River enjoying the view of the river passing by. On reaching Trishuli Bazaar we will have our lunch and have some refreshments and relaxation. We will continue our drive to Syabru (1503 m) passing beautiful rivers, magical views of mountains, villages, and beautiful forests. On reaching our destination we will check in at one of the lodges and rest.
Trek from Sybrubensi to Lama Hotel (2470m) 5 hours
Today we’ll start our trek to Lama Hotel. On having our breakfast we will initiate our journey. We will start our trek from Sybrubensi crossing the Bhote Koshi River followed by Langtang Khola. For about 2 hours of elevated walking through deep forests, reaching Bamboo Village (1970m). On passing through this route we can enjoy the scenic beauty of the forests, varieties of flora and fauna residing in the forests, terraced fields, and many local villages. From Bamboo Village, ascends steeply until we will reach the Lama Hotel and then overnight at Lama Hotel.
Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang 3430m/5 hours
In the early morning, we will start our trek to Langtang Village which is one of the most famous villages along the various trekking routes. Today we have to cover nearly 1000 m elevation gain, so the trek will be a steep uphill leading us to Langtang Village. The first three hours of our trek will be a pleasant walk through rhododendron forests leading Ghodatabela (3030m). This area is covered with dense forest offering a wide variety of flora and fauna. Later there are opportunities to watch yak grazing in the fields. We will ascend steeply in the second part of our walk, reaching our destination Langtang Village. Stay overnight at one of the lodges in Langtang village.
Trek from Langtang to Kyanjin Gumba 3830m/3 hours
After breakfast, we will visit the beautiful Langtang village enjoying the spectacular views of the surroundings and interacting with locals. We will have our meal and head towards Kyanjin Gumba. For about 3 hours of continuous trekking, we will then reach Kyanjin Gumba from where we can get the glimpses of Mt Kyanjin Ri (4773m) and Mt. Langtang Lirung (7227m). We will also visit the Local Yak cheese factory and visit Kyanjin Monastery. This is an ancient monastery and one of the most important monastery of Langtang Valley for the Tamang people. Acclimatization Day: hike to Tserko-Ri 4984m
Today we head to reach the highest point on this trekking trail. We will start our trek to Tserko-Ri(4984 m). The majestic views of the sunrise, rising in between the mountains will make this trek memorable to everyone. We will also visit the Langtang glacier and Langshisha Kharka. After collecting beautiful memories from Tserko-Ri we will head back to Kyanjin Gumba and then overnight at Kyanjin Gumba.
Trek from Kyanjin Gumba to Lama Hotel 2470m/6 hours
After breakfast the early morning we will descend back to Hotel Lama crossing back through the beautiful forests of pines and rhododendrons. Three hours of descending along the trail will lead us to Ghodatabela where we can have our lunch and some rest. We will continue to descend to Lama Hotel. On reaching the Lama Hotel we will enjoy dinner and overnight at a lodge in Lama Hotel.
Trek from Lama Hotel to Thulo Syabru 2210m/5 hours
Leaving the mountain trails beside we will head to Thulo Syabru from Lama Hotel on this day. This trekking route will be different from the route we had ascended. We will get a chance to enjoy the different landscapes, different cultures and different lifestyle of the people residing in this region. Stay overnight at Thulo Syabru.
Trek from Thulo Syabru to Dhunche 1960m/5 hours
On this day we will descend to Dhunche from Thulo Syabru. On having our lunch we start our trek to Dhunche passing through the forests inhabiting varieties of flora and fauna. Dhunche is a small and a beautiful town and will be our finishing point for this trekking trail. Stay overnight at Dhunche.
Drive from Dhunche to Kathmandu by private vehicle 4W/6 hours
On day 11, we will leave our lodge early and drive back to Kathmandu. Engraving the beautiful memories we have experienced during this trekking journey. Upon reaching Kathmandu you will be transferred to the hotel in Thamel. Stay overnight at Kathmandu.
Final Departure from Kathmandu
We will drive you to TIA for your scheduled departure. Farewell!

Any cost arises due to a change of the program/itinerary, because of landslides, political disturbance, strike and some accidental problems.
